FAQ

Common questions.

Will I get banned by WhatsApp?
The honest answer: maybe. Bulk messaging through WhatsApp Web technically violates WhatsApp's terms of service. Leadgrabr is built with multiple safety layers — randomised pacing (8–22 seconds between messages by default), periodic longer breaks, a warm-up schedule for fresh installs (caps at 20/40/80 sends in your first three days), and an anti-spam guard that warns you before sending the same message to many contacts without personalisation. That said, no third-party tool can guarantee against bans. Best practices: use a number that's been actively chatting with real people for 2+ weeks before bulk-sending from it, always personalise with {name}, and never message cold lists you bought from somewhere.
Do I need WhatsApp Business?
No, the messaging features work with both regular WhatsApp and WhatsApp Business. The CRM tags sync across devices automatically if you're on WhatsApp Business (because labels are a Business feature). On regular WhatsApp, tags are stored locally on your machine — same UI, just per-device. Comments and reminders are always local.
Does my laptop need to stay on while sending?
Yes, while a campaign is running. WhatsApp Web is a linked device — sending happens through your browser, not a server. You can close the extension popup and the campaign keeps going, but Chrome and the WhatsApp Web tab need to stay open. Sleep mode pauses sending; it resumes when you wake the laptop.
How does the Lifetime plan work?
Pay ₹4,999 once via Razorpay using your WhatsApp number. The license activates against that number automatically within seconds of payment confirmation. You get all current and future Premium features for as long as Leadgrabr exists. Single-number plan — meant for solo operators. If you need team seats, go Growth or Business.
What happens after I pay?
The extension polls our backend every few seconds after you click a plan card. As soon as your payment is confirmed by Razorpay (usually within 10–15 seconds), the popup automatically flips from Free to your new plan — no reload, no email, no hoops. Your WhatsApp number is the license key.
What if I pay with a different number than my WhatsApp number?
The license activates against whatever number you give Razorpay at checkout. If that's not the same number you use on WhatsApp Web, the extension won't recognise your plan. Use the same number on both to avoid problems. If you do mismatch them, just email akshay.kini@leadgrabr.com and I'll move the license.
Can I import contacts from a Google Sheet?
Yes. Pipe Facebook Lead Ads (or any form) into a Google Sheet, share the sheet as "Anyone with the link → Viewer", paste the URL into Leadgrabr's Lead Sources card, and click Fetch. The extension reads only the new leads since your last fetch — automatic deduplication, no spreadsheet juggling.
Is my data safe?
Your messages and contacts never touch our servers. All sending happens locally in your browser through WhatsApp Web. We only store your phone number and active license status on our backend — that's it. Comments, reminders, and tags live in your browser's local storage. You can delete everything by uninstalling the extension.
Can I get a refund?
If something doesn't work as advertised, email akshay.kini@leadgrabr.com within 7 days of purchase and we'll refund you. Refunds aren't offered if WhatsApp bans your account (since that's outside our control — please read the safety section above).
